Paint Out Norfolk

My first venture 'out' was to take part in Paint Out Norfolk, an annual en plein air painting event. The hub of the event was at Whitlingham Country Park on the edge of Norwich and each day over a week we were sent out to paint at locations all over Norfolk: Norwich (including sites associated with John Crome a founder of the Norwich School of Painting), Brancaster Staithe, the Broads, Horsey and many more.

Painting at St Benet's Abbey
Many parts of Norfolk make my fingers itch to paint but the ones that really took my fancy were the site of St Benet's Abbey, near Ludham, Horsey Mere and Barton Turf.

The week concluded with an exhibition at the hub where some of my paintings were bought.
